How vilvah rosewater is manufactured :
Rose water is purely steam distilled using freshly harvested organic rose petals with no addition of any other ingredient at all. The steam passes through the rose petals carrying the rose petals nutrients along with it and rises up. On coming in contact with the condenser- the cooling pipe- the steam turns into water droplets. So the droplets of water collected in the beaker are rose water. The water collected in the beaker is thus free from any impurities and the steam distillation process inhibits bacterial growth. This enables the water to be stored for more than a year without the addition of preservatives.
About 5 kg of roses gives us a litre of rose water which is pure, nutrient rich and adulteration free. Rose hydrosol is the end product of this process and not a by- product.
